Hugging Face

Open-source artificial intelligence platform whose hub hosts roughly three million models, half a million datasets and one million applications used by more than 18 million developers. Founded in 2016 and best known for its transformers library, Hugging Face is being acquired by NVIDIA for $12,930,300,000, a figure that includes an equity-based retention program of up to $1 billion for employees who join. NVIDIA says the platform will remain open to the entire AI ecosystem.
