Israeli deep-tech company founded in 2020 by Weizmann Institute physicists Ruti Ben Shlomi and Chene Tradonsky, developing the Laser Processing Unit, an all-optical computing architecture that uses coupled lasers to perform computation for optimization problems and simulations. CollPlant Biotechnologies closed the acquisition using an equity-centric structure of upfront ordinary shares, pre-funded warrants, a $5 million investment in LightSolver and additional milestone-based warrants; a total transaction value was not disclosed.
